that’s so vintage: a weekend of vintage shopping in DC, october 24–25

if your idea of a good weekend involves sipping matcha and buying vintage designer bags & euro clothes, put october 24–25 on your calendar.
that’s so vintage is returning to the square in washington, DC, and of course closed caption will be back for both days.

we’re already making some very difficult decisions about what to bring. an entirely reasonable number of bags is apparently subjective.

what is that’s so vintage?

that’s so vintage is DC’s biannual vintage show, bringing together collectors and curators from across the east coast. each dealer brings a different perspective, so you can explore decades of clothing, accessories, and objects in one place.

you might come across antique jewelry, a 1920s slip dress, midcentury accessories, vintage workwear, or a rare Y2K designer piece. there’s room for very different closets here—and plenty of opportunities to develop an interest in something you didn’t know you collected.

if you’ve been looking for a vintage shopping event in DC where you can browse beyond your usual stores, this is a good weekend to clear some space in your schedule.

find closed caption at that’s so vintage

we’re bringing a selection of the euro vintage and archival designer pieces you know us for at closed caption, our vintage shop in old town alexandria (which will also be open regular hours)

expect vintage designer bags, watches, jewelry, and clothing, chosen with the same approach we take in the shop: pieces we’d want to wear ourselves, with details that make us stop and look twice.

if you’ve been admiring something on our website, come say hi. seeing a bag in person, trying it on, and checking how much actually fits inside is its own kind of research. we support it.

make a weekend of vintage shopping in DC

come with a specific piece in mind or see what catches your eye. that’s part of the appeal of a vintage show: every dealer has spent time finding things you might never have encountered otherwise.

we can’t wait to be back, meet some new faces, and see what everyone finds.

see you october 24–25. we’ll be the ones emotionally attached to the bags we brought to sell.
