The Pequin stripe in that signature brown and black—one of those FENDI archive patterns that never really went anywhere because it never needed to. The single-shoulder backpack silhouette feels very 90s in the best way: slightly utilitarian, slightly collected. The adjustable strap can be clipped to either side, allowing you to wear it comfortably on whichever shoulder feels right. Finished with black leather trim and a snap closure, it's the kind of archive piece that gets better the longer you look at it.

all pieces marked vintage are, well, vintage—as in legally allowed to order an espresso martini (21+). they’ve lived a little, seen some things, and still made it here looking fabulous.
we only pick the best of the best (no questionable fast fashion ghosts here), but keep in mind they’re pre-loved, not brand new.
we do our best to remove any scents, but as with any used clothing or accessory, there might be a light trace of the previous owner—it fades with time and becomes yours.
each piece is placed into one of these three categories:
excellent: loved slightly – minor signs of wear like light markings or fading. handbags and accessories may show lightly worn corners, faint scratches, or gentle interior wear.
great: loved a little more – moderate flaws or a stronger vintage smell (nothing off-putting).
good: loved intensely – still a great item, but with signs of a longer love story.

How much is shipping?
Shipping within the U.S. is FREE on orders of $49 or more. Otherwise, Standard Shipping is a $6 flat rate and Express Shipping is a $25 flat rate.
Shipping to Canada is available on orders of $150 USD or more for a $15 flat rate.
Outside the U.S. or Canada? Email us at hello@closedcaption.us - international shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis depending on the destination and item.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Ready-to-ship orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days. Items marked “Made to Order” ship within 7-10 business days.
Once shipped, Standard Shipping within the U.S. typically takes 3–5 business days. Express Shipping typically takes 1–2 business days. Shipping to Canada typically takes 7–14 business days and may take longer due to customs processing.
Can I return an online order?
Yes! CLOSED CAPTION accepts eligible online returns within the U.S. for store credit. You have 7 days after receiving your order to request a return.
Simply send us an email at hello@closedcaption.us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll coordinate your return.
For eligible U.S. online returns of items priced at $150 or more, we’ll provide a prepaid return shipping label. For items priced under $150, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
All in-store and market purchases are final sale. International orders, sale items, made-to-order items, art, and gift cards are also final sale.

I found this cute little vintage shop when I was wandering around Old Town the other day. They have great stuff. While they are l focused on 2000s/Y2k styles, they also had a lot of other cool items like vintage jackets and furs (which seemed to be more 70s-90s) which are a little more timeless/classic in my opinion. Vintage fur is certainly an item to retain for a lifetime. I got a 2000s style corset top which is a trend thats returned I am enjoying. Great place to update the wardrobe with unique pieces. It is something of a collective with Closed Caption on the bottom floor and then more vintage shops on the second floor. I am excited to return soon :)
My sister and I were wandering through Old Town on a rainy weekend and popped in. So glad we did, everything in the shop is thoughtfully chosen and there's a range of both styles and prices.
