Condition

Please keep in mind that CLOSED CAPTION pieces marked VINTAGE are in fact vintage, which means of legal drinking age - 21 years or older and they have seen some things. Mostly they have had a good time and been loved and taken care of. We make sure to only pick the highest quality pieces and leave the rest behind but they are still used and not new.

We also make sure that smells are removed but given the condition of used clothing and accessories, there will always be a slight smell of the previous owner which will dissipate and take on your smell over time.

That is why each piece is put in one of three categories:

Excellent: Loved slightly - Minor signs of wear such as light markings or fading. Handbags and accessories may show wear such as lightly worn corners, light scratches and interior wear.

Great: Loved a little more - Moderate flaws or stronger smell (nothing off-putting)

Good: Loved intensely - Still a great item but was loved more thoroughly

Colors

We make every effort to photograph everything as accurately as possible and color match each piece to the monitor, but because of color disparities in computer monitors the color of the actual piece you receive may be slightly different then what you see on your computer.

Shipping & Returns

How much is shipping?
Shipping within the US is FREE if you spend $49 or more. Otherwise it is a $6 flatrate for Standard and $25 for Express within the US. $15 for orders from Canada.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Each ready to ship order ships within 1-2 business days, "Made to Order" pieces take a little longer and ship within 5-7 business days and depending on where you live Standard Shipping within the US takes 3-5 business days and international 7-10 days

Can I return or exchange my items if it doesn’t fit?
Yes, CLOSED CAPTION offers returns for store credit within the US . If the item doesn’t fit, simply send an email within 7 days of receiving your order and we will coordinate a return for a store credit. Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping cost and that we can not accept international returns or returns on artwork, sale items, items made to order or gift cards.
